In this second installment of the original Star Wars trilogy, we reunite with fan-favorites Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Princess Leia and Darth Vader as the plot thickens and the Rebels face retribution for their heroic destruction of the Empire’s Death Star. Legendary film composer John Williams’ colossal score provides the beating heart for all the action, from the explosive battle scenes, the burgeoningromance between Leia and Han, the mystical connection Luke forms with his new mentor, Yoda, and the tragic and surprising revelation that Vader makes to Luke in their culminating duel. This is an extraordinary way to experience a classic film. To hear the Erie Philharmonic perform the complete score in real time, coordinated with the action and dialogue is a sensory thrill ride.
